NYZ Fighters Envelope Tracking testing announcement with an envelope, barcode, and route graphic

Introducing NYZ Envelope Tracking: A New Way to Follow Your TCG Order

Waiting for a card order can be the hardest part of collecting. Letter envelopes do not normally provide the same detailed tracking experience as a standard package, which can leave customers wondering whether an order is moving through the mail.

Beginning September 8, 2026, NYZ Fighters is testing a new TCG order lookup and envelope tracking system. It is designed to give eligible lower-value card orders more visibility while they travel through the USPS letter-mail network.

Customers can now search with their exact order number and view any NYZ envelope tracking number connected to that order. The page can show available USPS processing scans, the general stage of the envelope's journey, and the destination city, state, and ZIP Code.

This is a new testing feature, and we will continue improving it as we receive real-world scan data and customer feedback.

At a Glance

  • Testing begins September 8, 2026.
  • Eligible letter-envelope orders under $50 receive NYZ Envelope Tracking.
  • Orders totaling $50 or more receive standard tracked shipping.
  • Customers can search by their complete marketplace order number or NYZ tracking number.
  • USPS letter scans can be delayed or missed, so this feature provides helpful visibility but does not guarantee a scan or delivery.

Which Orders Receive Tracking?

For eligible orders placed on or after September 8, 2026:

  • Orders under $50 that ship in a letter envelope will receive NYZ Envelope Tracking.
  • Orders totaling $50 or more will receive standard tracked shipping.
  • Orders placed before September 8, 2026 may not appear in the new lookup system.

NYZ Envelope Tracking is intended for card orders mailed in envelopes. Standard tracked shipping uses a carrier-issued package tracking number and provides the normal package-tracking experience.

How to Look Up Your Order

  1. Visit nyzfighters.com/pages/track.
  2. Find the order number in your order confirmation, marketplace receipt, or order history.
  3. Enter the complete order number exactly as it appears.
  4. Select Find my Package.
  5. Review the tracking number, destination, current status, journey, and available scan history.

The lookup supports eligible orders from NYZ Fighters and the marketplaces connected to our fulfillment system, including TCGplayer, eBay, and Mana Pool.

Use the full order number, including every number and dash:

  • TCGplayer: If the order shows D12345-67890-12345 , enter the complete order number.
  • eBay: If the order shows 12-34567-89012, enter all three sections and both dashes: 12-34567-89012.
  • Mana Pool: If the order shows #234567-2345678, enter 234567-2345678. Use numbers and dashes only; do not enter the hashtag or number sign (#).
  • NYZ Fighters website: Enter the order number shown in your NYZ Fighters order confirmation.

Do not enter a product number, listing number, payment transaction number, username, or email address. The lookup requires the exact order number to protect customer information.

If one order was divided into multiple envelopes, the page may show more than one NYZ tracking number. Select each number to see the status of that envelope.

How NYZ Envelope Tracking Works

When we prepare an eligible envelope, our label system creates a unique NYZ tracking number and securely connects it to the marketplace order number. The printed envelope also carries a USPS Intelligent Mail barcode.

As the envelope moves through automated USPS letter-processing equipment, that barcode may be read at different facilities. USPS makes those mail-processing events available through its Informed Visibility system. Our lookup page translates the available events into a simpler journey that is easier to understand.

Depending on the scans USPS reports, the page may show stages such as:

  • Label created: We prepared the envelope and issued its NYZ tracking number.
  • Awaiting USPS scan: No USPS processing event has reached our system yet.
  • Origin: USPS equipment reported a scan near the beginning of the route.
  • USPS network: The envelope received a processing scan while moving through the mail network.
  • Destination: A scan was reported closer to the destination area.
  • Local delivery: The latest information indicates the envelope has reached the final part of its expected route.

The NYZ number is an envelope lookup number for our website. It is not the same as the longer tracking number used for ordinary USPS packages, so customers should use the NYZ Fighters lookup page for these envelopes.

When Should Tracking Begin Updating?

Please allow approximately 24 to 48 hours after an order is marked shipped for the first USPS processing event to appear.

Weekend timing can take longer. Orders marked shipped on Friday may be mailed on Friday or Saturday, but the first visible processing update may not appear until Monday or Tuesday. Holidays, severe weather, regional delays, high mail volume, and the route taken by a specific envelope can also affect when a scan appears.

An envelope can move through the mail even when the status has not changed. USPS letter mail is scanned by automated equipment during processing, but every envelope is not guaranteed to receive a readable scan at every step. A scan can be missed, delayed, received out of sequence, or never reported to our system.

For that reason, an "Awaiting USPS scan" message or a lack of new updates does not mean that your order was not shipped. The envelope may still be moving normally, and in some cases it may arrive before another update appears.

What This Tracking Can and Cannot Tell You

NYZ Envelope Tracking is designed to add useful visibility to lower-value TCG orders. It can help show that an envelope was processed by USPS equipment and help us understand the general route it is taking.

However, this feature is not standard package tracking, certified mail, signature confirmation, insurance, or proof of delivery. It does not guarantee:

  • That USPS will scan the envelope
  • That every processing step will appear
  • A specific delivery date or delivery time
  • A final delivery scan
  • Delivery to a particular mailbox or person
  • A refund, replacement, reimbursement, or claim approval

A scan near the destination indicates mail processing in or near that area. It is not confirmation that the envelope was placed in the recipient's mailbox. Delivery estimates and journey stages are informational and may change as additional data becomes available.

The purpose of this feature is to provide more information and help envelopes make it where they need to go. It cannot control USPS handling, transportation, scan availability, weather, delays, address problems, or final delivery.

Our regular Shipping Policy continues to apply to all orders.

What to Do If You Do Not See an Update

First, make sure you entered the complete order number. Check every number and dash, and remember to leave out the # shown before some Mana Pool order numbers.

If the order was just marked shipped, wait 24 to 48 hours and try again. For orders shipped near a weekend or holiday, allow additional time for USPS processing data to appear.

If tracking remains unchanged, continue watching your normal estimated delivery window. A missing scan does not stop an envelope from moving through the mail, and an envelope may be delivered without a complete series of visible events.

Once the marketplace's estimated delivery window has passed, check the delivery address, mailbox, household members, mailroom, building office, and local post office when appropriate. If you still need help, contact us at nyzfighters+wheresmyorder@gmail.com and include your complete order number. We can review the shipment information available to us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every order receive NYZ Envelope Tracking?

Eligible envelope orders under $50 placed on or after September 8, 2026 will receive NYZ Envelope Tracking. Orders totaling $50 or more receive standard tracked shipping. Older orders may not be available in the new system.

Can I search with my marketplace order number?

Yes. Enter the exact order number from your NYZ Fighters, TCGplayer, eBay, or Mana Pool order. Use the complete number and all dashes. For Mana Pool, leave out the # sign.

Can I search with the NYZ tracking number instead?

Yes. If you already have the NYZ envelope tracking number, you can enter it directly on the same lookup page.

Why does my order still say "Awaiting USPS scan"?

The label has been created, but our system has not received a USPS processing event for that envelope. Please allow 24 to 48 hours, and allow extra time around weekends and holidays. The envelope may still be moving even if no scan appears.

Why did one status appear without the earlier steps?

USPS equipment may report some processing events without reporting every earlier event. The page displays the data that becomes available; it does not invent missing scans.

Does "Local delivery" mean it was delivered?

No. It means the available information places the envelope near the final stage of its expected route. NYZ Envelope Tracking does not provide guaranteed delivery confirmation.

Can I enter the NYZ number on USPS.com?

No. The shorter NYZ number is designed for the NYZ Fighters lookup page. Orders shipped with standard tracked shipping will receive a regular carrier tracking number instead.

Does this change how quickly my order arrives?

No. The tracking system adds visibility, but it does not change USPS transportation or delivery speed.

Built to Give Collectors More Visibility

We created NYZ Envelope Tracking because collectors should have more information while waiting for their cards. It will not turn a letter envelope into a fully tracked package, and it cannot guarantee delivery, but it gives customers and our team another useful way to follow eligible orders through the mail stream.

This feature enters testing on September 8, 2026. We will keep reviewing scan performance, improving the experience, and making the information as clear and useful as possible.
